Day 1
Morning pick-up at your hotel in San José for a 4 hour drive to Monteverde. The first 2 hours are on the Pan-American Highway and the last two are on a winding, gravel road. You will arrive at Monteverde Lodge & Gardens in time for lunch (on your own). Please note that checkout time is at 12:00 p.m. and you may have to wait to check in to your room.

Day 2
Guided morning excursion (up to 10 people) to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Return to Lodge at mid-day. Afternoon relaxing or participating in optional activities including, visit to a butterfly farm or coffee plantation, horseback riding and more . (at additional cost)

Day 3
Morning free. After lunch drive back to San José . (B,L) |
