In this small piece of land you can find 6% of the world’s plants and animals!  More than 25 percent of the land is protected while 11 percent of it, National Parks.  Costa Rica’s nature reveals itself in its entire splendour from volcanoes to rain forest, waterfalls, valleys, rivers; and from butterflies to 850 species of birds, reptiles, and amphibians.
